Biographical Sketch: Angelo Lucio Spelta is the Technical Service & Application Development Manager for Elastomers of versalis spa, a position he has held since 2007. Prior to that he covered different positions inside the petrochemical company of eni spa, mostly in Technical, Research and Marketing Departments. He was involved in almost all the Synthetic Rubber families and related Applications, following customers needs, market evolution, company investments and technical strategies. In this way he acquired a very large expertise of the Elastomer World and its applications. He started his professional activity in a Plastic Company more than 35 years ago as Quality Control Lab Manager. He is member of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, where covered the position of Chairman of the European Technical Operating Section. He is author of Papers and Patents related to Synthetic Elastomers. Mr. Spelta graduated with laude from Milan University in a branch of chemistry.
