Biographical Sketch:
Saied Taheri received his PhD from Clemson University in 1990 and has conducted research in tire-vehicle dynamics and chassis system control development in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He is the director of the Center for Tire Research and the Intelligent Transportation Laboratory at Virginia Tech. He has over 90 published journal and conference papers in tire and vehicle area, and has graduated over 50 graduate students.
