Abstract

Polymers recovered from post consumer and production scraps through a novel melt mix process, can be used as asphalt additive to improve pavement performance. It can, with modifications to the polymer composition, also be used in asphalt for sealants and roofing membranes. This paper illustrates the preparation and properties of such additives.
