Biographical Sketch: Wirasak Smitthipong earned a PhD in chemistry in 2005 at University of Haute Alsace in Mulhouse, France. He was a postdoctoral at the University of California, Santa Barbara in USA. He now performs a lecturer at Department of Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. He is also a coordinator on natural rubber research and development of the Thailand Research Fund. He has published over 60 papers, 3 invited book chapters, and edited 2 books (Bio-based composites for high-performance materials: from strategy to industrial application, and Green Biomaterials).
