Biographical Sketch: Guodong Deng is current Ph.D. student working with Dr. Kevin Cavicchi at Polymer Engineering Department from the University of Akron. His research focuses on synthesis of ionically crosslinked polymer networks for stimuli-responsive materials. Prior to joining the University of Akron he received his B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from South China University of Technology.
