Biographical Sketch: Mr. Hirata is the Elastomer Development & Marketing Leader of KURARAY Co., Ltd, a manufacture of Liquid rubber and Styrenic Elastomer. He received his Masters Degree in Organic Synthetic Chemistry from Osaka University in 2001. He immediately joined KURARAY as a chemical researcher and worked on development of liquid rubbers for tire application. He has contributed to development of a new bio-based liquid rubber since 2011.
