Biographical Sketch: Cristina Bergmann studied Chemical Engineering and finished the dissertation studies at the German Rubber Institute in Hannover under the supervision of Professor Dr. Robert Schuster. She worked for Continental Tires and Rhein Chemie Additives in several positions in Applications Technology / Rubber Division. Since 2009 she works for the mineral oil manufacturer Hansen & Rosenthal in Hamburg, Germany, where she was Head of Research and Development Laboratory in Hamburg till 2015. Since than she works as product manager for process oils for rubber and thermoplastic industries. Cristina Bergmann leads the Regional Group of the German Rubber Society in the north of Germany since three years and recently joined the Board of Directors of the German Rubber Society.
