Biographical Sketch: Eric Jourdain, a native of France, is leading Elastomers Application and Customer developments, mainly in automotive sector. It relates to rubber (EPDM) and Thermoplastic (TPV) for sealing system and fluid transfer.
Eric Jourdain started his career in 1979, as Research Engineer at an industrial paint company in France.
In 1981, he joined ExxonMobil as an Elastomers Commercial Engineer and then he held application development positions in Elastomers Technology.
He had assignment at the US ExxonMobil Technical Center in 1993 .He was transferred in 2004 to Advanced Elastomers Systems as technical leader to develop Santoprene™ Thermoplastic Elastomers in automotive sealing systems.
He was appointed in 2008 as Marketing & Technology Specialist for Elastomer Applications in automotive.
He is now Senior Engineering Advisor in Polymers Technology, Molding and Extrusion Application Development. He supports globally Application Development activities for EPDM rubber and Thermoplastic Elastomers.
