Biographical Sketch: Kaushik came to United States in 2001 after completing his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Plastics Technology at the Gujarat University, India. He received his Master of Science degree in Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell where he focused on injection molding Process, mold design and Materials. Kaushik joined GECOM Corporation as a Production Engineer after his graduation in 2004. Then, he moved on to Foreman Tool & Mold in Saint Charles, Illinois in 2006 as a Plastics Engineer. After 4 years of manufacturing experience in design and processing for the automotive and consumer industries, Kaushik moved to SIGMA Plastic Services, Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois. At SIGMA, Kaushik is the Manager of Application and Technology, where his primary responsibility is to support and grow the SIGMASOFT® Virtual Molding customer base since 2008. Kaushik is a Team Leader at SIGMA and a SPE member. He is the author of several technical papers and participates in multiple seminars and conferences annually.
