Keltan EPDM for Economical Mixing and Compounding

EPDM is used in a wide variety of applications requiring excellent weathering and good heat resistance. A number of factors influence mixing of EPDM, and impact the properties, times and material costs. Molecular architecture, product form, and overall formulation will be discussed. Mixing and formulating for economical, low cost applications will be covered, including sold dense extrusions, hose, and molded goods.

ARLANXEO Performance Elastomers has created a new product, Keltan®7470Q DE, which is ideally suited for these applications. Performance advantages over other commercial EPDM products will be demonstrated.
