Biographical Sketch: Martin van Duin (53 years; PhD physical organic chemistry) has worked for 26 years in rubber R&D and is currently a Principal Scientist at LANXESS Elastomers, Keltan R&D. Main fields of expertise are rubber crosslinking, modification and blending with emphasis on characterisation, chemistry and structure-properties relationships. He has a position at the Technical University of Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and is (co-)author of more than 140 scientific papers.
