Biographical Sketch: Cecilia Aguiar da Silva was born in Recife/PE, Brazil 1986. She received her B.Eng. degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in 2010. In the same year she started a master program in the field of Polymer Material Science at Martin Luther Universität Halle in Germany. Her master thesis research area focused on spectroscopic studies on stretched star block copolymers. In 2012 she obtained her M.Eng. degree under supervision of Prof. Roland Weidisch (in memoriam). Presently, she is enrolled in a PhD program in physic at the same university in close collaboration with Goodyear S.A. She is doing research in a multidisciplinary field under supervision of Prof. Mario Beiner and her research is focused on synthesis, relaxation and morphology studies of self-assembled block copolymers.
