Biographical Sketch: Whittney Laderoute is a chemist in the analytical lab at Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies in Plymouth, Michigan. Whittney earned her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Lake Superior State University in 2013. She joined FNST over a year ago with a strong analytical background and ability to use multiple forensic tools. This was reflected in her thesis on the use of sand particles as criminal trace evidence, which required extensive microscopic analysis and material characterizations. Outside of chemistry she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, biking, swimming, singing, and volunteering.
