Biographical Sketch: Dr. Soumendra Basu is the group leader for Applications Development and Research for Tire Additives business for Eastman Chemical Company. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota in 2005 and worked at General Motors R&D for 4 years before joining Eastman in 2009. He has published more than 25 journal articles and patents.
