Biographical Sketch: Peter Abraham has worked in the rubber industry since 1977. He has been a Professional Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining since 1986 and has held the title of Chartered Scientist, CSci, since 2005. During his time in the rubber industry, he has worked for Avon Rubber Company in Wiltshire and Hatcham Rubber Company in Hertfordshire,UK. He joined Zeon Chemicals in October 1990 and has held several Technical posts within the company since that time. He is currently European Technical Service Manager for ACM ; ECO ; HNBR & NBR Elastomers, with additional responsibility as Manager of the European Technical Service Laboratory in the UK, where he is based. He is married with five children and two grandchildren and lives near Cardiff, South Wales.
