Biographical Sketch: I have obtained my degree in chemistry at the University of Milan (Italy) in 1983, specializing on polymer chemistry. In 1987 I have joined Pirelli at the main development center in Milan. Here I have been responsible for compound development first for truck tires then for car tires up to the beginning of year 2000. I have been then covering first the responsibility of assuring material quality at central level and then I covered the responsibility of Pirelli material laboratories and raw material development department. Starting from 2008 I moved to local responsibilities in the factories, first in the new factory in Italy and since 2012 to the German factory. Here I am driving a group working for material development involved in all issues related to tires development for new coming vehicles.
