Biographical Sketch: Jean-Marc Monsallier obtained a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Florida State University, USA in 1998. After several years of experience in environmental chemistry, he joined the R&D center of Continental Tires in Hanover, Germany. He worked there for 5 years as a rubber compounder, including the evaluation of new raw materials / technologies for tire tread compounds. In 2005, he joined Cray Valley in France providing technical support to different industries including tire and rubber engineering products. In 2013, he became the European R&D Director overviewing the R&D programs for tackyfying resins, liquid polymers and other functional additives for the spectrum of Cray Valley's market space.
