Biographical Sketch: Miss Hess earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at University of Cincinnati in 2012. Her co-op assignments included work for Cornerstone Research Group in Dayton, US Environmental Protection Agency in Cincinnati and Robert Bosch in Stuttgart, Germany, where she developed proficiency in the German language while performing micro-needle research. After graduation, she accepted a position with Bioformix Inc, a start-up company in Loveland, Ohio, as an Analytic Engineer, where she was responsible for analyzing adhesives and developing test methods in their analytical lab. In February 2014, Julie accepted a position with Cooper Tire in the Advanced Technology Department in the Global Technical Center where she has been involved in a variety of compounding and reinforcements projects.
