Biographical Sketch: Vahab Solouki Bonab got his bachelor and master degrees in polymer engineering major from Tehran polytechnic (2007-2013) and from spring 2014, he started his PhD by joining Prof. Manas research group at Case Western Reserve University. As PhD student, he is working on development of TPU/carbon based particle nanocomposites with advanced properties. Development of such nanocomposites desires precise control over dispersion of nanoparticles, polymerization of polyurethane and morphology of final nanocomposite as well as possibility of scale up to industrial scale. In order to achieve this goal, he is trying to combine modeling, simulation, rheological, morphological, thermal and mechanical analysis using his diverse background from his previous works to deeply understand the system of study and give the design guidelines to have the desired properties.
Vahab is active member of polymer processing society since 2011 and Society of plastic engineering since 2014.
