Richard graduated top of his Engineering cohort at Queen Mary, University of London in 2014. Throughout his undergraduate degree his research received numerous awards from both the IMechE and internally within the University. Having studied Elastomer related projects for both his 3rd and 4th year dissertations he opted to take up a Ph.D opportunity under his undergraduate supervisor Prof. J. Busfield, sponsored by Cameron who he had undergone two internships with during his undergraduate degree. He is currently looking at how simulative techniques can be used to improve elastomer components in flow equipment.
