Biographical Sketch: Mr. S.B. Eshwaran was born in India on 8th of May, 1989 in Bhilai, India. In 2010, he successfully completed his Bachelors’ degree with third rank from Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, India in the department of Polymer Engineering. He then joined Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India to pursue a Masters’ degree in Rubber Technology. During his second year of study, he was granted the DAAD scholarship to carry out his Masters’ thesis in the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e. V., Germany amongst 50 candidates all over India. Successfully completing his Masters’ degree, he also obtained the best project award for the year 2012 in his department. Immediately after the Masters’ programme, he was offered a Ph.D position in the department of Elastomers in Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e. V., Germany.
