Biographical Sketch: Mr. Pranab Dey is pursuing his Ph.D. degree from IIT kharagpur, India under the guidance of Dr. K. Naskar and Prof. G. B. Nando. Previously, he has worked for three years in a leading tyre manufacturing MNC in India and received “Shining Star” award for implementing an innovative method to reduce the blister formation during butyl rubber calendering. He has also received “Best Innovative Idea” award for proposing a novel die design to expand its longevity while reducing cost. His fields of interests are: polymer blends and micro- and nano-composites, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), polymer and elastomer processing, cross-linking of elastomers and tyre technology.
