Biographical Sketch: Jon Nienaber joined Synthos in June of this year as the Synthetic Rubber Sales Manager NAFTA with a focus on expanding rubber business in North America. He began his career at Rhein Chemie Additives as an Application Technologist in 2008. His passion and experience in the industry allowed him to eventually work his way up to the Technical Manager position for rubber in North America. Nienaber received his Bachelor of Science degree in Rubber Engineering Technology from Ferris State University in 2008. He still holds close ties with the area as a member of the West Michigan Rubber Group, for which he served as president from 2011 to 2012. He also held the position of Student Chair in the ACS Rubber Division from 2010 to 2012. Jon continues to visit Ferris State once a year, offering guidance to current students and industry insight to professors developing their curricula.
