Effects of Carbon Black on Dynamic Properties of Natural Rubber

A broad range of carbon black grades, covering both particle size and structure variations, is used in a 75 durometer series of Natural Rubber compounds.  Effects on processing variables, standard physical properties, and dynamic properties are measured and reported.  Effects on K* and Tangent Delta as measured using servohydraulic test machines on standard compression set buttons are displayed.
