This paper will discuss the creation of a regression model in order to predict the diameter of electrospun elastomer fibers from process parameters. There have been several attempts to obtain a reliable model for electrospinning using analytical equations. In this work we will correlate experimental data obtained with SIBS (poly(styrene—isobutylene-styrene)) and AIBA (poly(alloocimene-isobutylene-alloocimene)) block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers mixed with a spinning aid and drugs to produce drug-eluting fiber mats.
