Biographical Sketch: Dr. Michael Warskulat finished his studies with a degree in Physical Chemistry. He joined Degussa AG, predecessor of Orion Engineered Carbons, in 1990 to become head of the analytical laboratory, focusing on the analysis of fillers for rubber. After a four-years-stay in a carbon black plant in France, he was promoted to Technical Marketing where he is now in charge of selected key accounts. Michael Warskulat is actively involved in standardization, being member of DIN (chairman), ISO (secretary) and ASTM (fellow).
