Biographical Sketch: Phil Magill obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1991 from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and then went on to do a post-doc at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Phil joined LANXESS in 1993 (formerly Polysar Rubber/Bayer Polymers) as a research chemist, and has since held positions within LANXESS in manufacturing and technical service in Canada and the US. In 2008, Phil returned to Canada to join the Butyl Rubber Global R&D group at their new location in London, Ontario.
