Biographical Sketch: Ph.D. - U. of Illinois, 1975 Professor of Mechanical Engineering - Auburn University 1977-1988 Engineering Research - Tire Mechanics - Bridgestone/Firestone Technical center, Akron Ohio, 1988 to present. Team Leader of Tire Mechanics Team since 1997. Areas of interest include: Tire mechanics as related to all areas of tire performance. Tire-vehicle system performance. Involved in experimental testing and computational modeling of tires and tire-vehicle systems.
