Biographical Sketch: Dr. Yurovska started her career in the former Soviet Union working for rubber and aircraft industries. She moved to the US in 1991. Since then, she has worked for Teknor Apex in RI and Precix Corp (Acushnet Rubber) in MA. Dr. Yurovska joined Cabot in 2003. Her current work covers rubber application support for carbon black (CB) products and processes and investigation of new grades of CB and their performance in rubber. Her education includes MS Chemical Engineering in Rubber Technology, PhD in Physical Chemistry of Polymers (both from Russia) and MBA in International Business and Finance from Bryant University in RI.
