Material Handling Solutions for NORDEL™ IP EPDM Polymers in Pellet Form

Abstract: 

 The Dow Chemical Company produces NORDEL™ IP Hydrocarbon Rubber products (EPDM polymers) over the widest range of ethylene contents in the industry, including a number of high ethylene grades that are in a pellet form.  This paper discusses possible material handling solutions to take advantage of these pellet forms as compared to or in complement to traditional rubber bales in mixing operations.
