USV- the Ultra Speed Vulcanization Process for Rubber Molded Parts

This paper will illustrate a new patented solution “USV”.  This process is designed for the rubber injection molding process.  USV will increase the rubber temperature close to the vulcanization temperature prior to the injection process, this evenly without introduction of shear heat.  With this method the rubber molding process times are decreased by reducing the actual cure time.  By reducing the cure time, processors can reduce the size of their molding machines and molds, therefore reducing their capital investment.  This will increase flexibility and profits. In addition multi-component molding applications, combining rubber and thermoplastics, are now possible without cycle time penalties.
