Managing an Effective Job Search- SEM 115
The “Managing an Effective Job Search" seminar consists of the following 1-hour core modules in the morning:
• Targeting the Job Market- making an assessment of one's strengths, accomplishments, goals and values. It also covers the ways for discovering job opportunities, with an emphasis on networking.
• Resume Preparation- the logic and format of creating an effective resume, and tailoring it for specific job openings.
• Interviewing Skills- the structure and logic of screening interviews and site interviews, and how to prepare effectively for them. It concludes with a brief discussion of assessing job offers.
The workshop also provides one-on-one resume reviews and career assistance during the afternoon following the workshop.
Course fee includes seminar materials and entrance to Rubber Expo 2009 exhibit floor.
