She joined Dow Corning in 1989, after receiving her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry at Northwestern University. Dr. Tonge has worked with most types of silicone rubber. She specializes in fluorosilicone rubber, which includes leading the team that developed the new liquid fluorosilicone rubbers. |
