Paul McElfresh Baker Hughes Inc 14990 yorktown Plaza Dr Houston, TX USA 77040 Biographical Sketch: Paul McElfresh joined Baker Hughes in June 1998 as an Engineering Manager for the new Fluids Pumping Group in Sand Control. His group was responsible for the development fracturing and other stimulation fluids. He transferred to the Technology Innovation Group where his team has developed biopolymers for downhole applications, improved swelling rubber compounds, and shape memory foams. He graduated from Arizona State University with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 1973 and in 1969 with a BS in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He is the author of one book, 8 patents and 42 articles dealing with oilfield technology and related topics |
