The Last 100 years of Carbon Black Reinforcement in Rubber

In the 100 years that the Rubber Division has been in existence there has been numerous advances in the reinforcement of rubber which have been significantly impacted by developments in carbon black during this time period.  This paper will try to put carbon black in its proper historical perspective in the rubber industry and discuss the many advances to this important reinforcing filler.
