He is a registered Professional Engineer and has over 20 years of experience as a consulting engineer in pavement research, advanced laboratory testing, and management services. He is a member of several professional organizations including the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. He has over forty publications in his field. Dr. Kaloush is the co-founder and co-director of the National Center of Excellence on SMART Innovations for Urban Climate and Energy (www.asuSMART.com) .
