Harold Von Quintus Applied Research Associates 2003 North Mays Street, Suite 105 Round Rock, TX USA 78664 Biographical Sketch: Mr. Von Quintus joined the Transportation Sector of Applied Research Associates, Inc. in 2002, and currently serves as Principal Engineer. Prior to his employment with ARA, Inc., Mr. Von Quintus was with Fugro-BRE, Inc. (formerly Brent Rauhut Engineering Inc.). He has over 30 years of pavement and materials engineering experience. This includes expertise in materials testing and design, pavement performance modeling, nondestructive testing, quality assurance, structural design and construction of flexible pavements. Mr. Von Quintus was a part of the flexible pavement team under NCHRP project 1-37A in developing and globally calibrating the MEPDG, and was the Principal Investigator for NCHRP Project 1-40B to develop the Manual of Practice for the MEPDG which served as the ballot for the MEPDG through AASHTO. He is also the Principal Investigator for NCHRP 1-40B to develop the Local Calibration Guide for the MEPDG and has assisted multiple agencies in implementing the MEPDG. |
