Curie-Sklodowskiej 34 Zabrze Poland 41-819 Email: bmendrek@cmpw-pan.edu.pl Biographical Sketch: Dr. Barbara Mendrek studied chemistry in Opole, Poland, and obtained her Ph.D. from the Opole University presenting a thesis on “Star structure of poly(tert-butyl acrylate and their characterization by gel permeation chromatography with triple detection”. She is employed in the Laboratory of Nanostructured Polymers in the Centre of Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences where she deals with the controlled and living polymerizations, synthesis of hyperbranched and star macromolecules, amphiphilic and stimuli responsive polymers and their characterization with GPC and LS methods. |
