He is Full Professor of Physical Chemistry. He is teaching Electrochemistry at the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Science. He was the President of the Council of the Degree in Industrial Chemistry in 1997-2005; Head of the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Padova and member of the Senate of the same University. He was Vice-president of the Electrochemical Division of the Italian Chemical Society in 1999-2004. He is member of the International Society of Electrochemistry, Electrochemical Society, American Chemical Society, Electrochemical Division of Italian Chemical Society. Armando Gennaro leads the Group of “Electrocatalysis and Applied Electrochemistry” at the University of Padova, which focuses on Electrosynthesis and Electrocatalysis, especially the study of mechanisms of organic electrochemical processes, eco-friendly electrosyntheses for industrial applications, and electrocatalytic materials and processes. |
