Leader of the Tissue Engineering Group at University of Bergen. The group involves a vital collaboration between Cell Biologists, Material Scientists, Engineers and Clinicians in order to rehabilitate patients for congenital and acquired bone defects caused by aging processes, trauma and pathological lesions in the dental and maxilla-facial regions. The current focus areas are implant dentistry, stem cells and tissue engineering and the subject is addressed to develop translational approaches for regenerative therapies. |
