Dr. Elena Berger-Nicoletti Institute of Organic Chemistry Johannes Gutenberg-University Macromolecular Chemistry Duesbergweg 10 - 14 Mainz Germany D-55128 Email: bergerni@uni-mainz.de Biographical Sketch: Elena Berger-Nicoletti studied chemistry at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and obtained her laurea in chemistry with Prof. Mandolini in 1995. From 1996 to 2000 she worked on her PhD thesis in the field of supramolecular chemistry at the Technical University Munich under the supervision of Prof. Schmidtchen. After a Post-Doc at the Christian-Doppler laboratory in Vienna, Austria, working on improvements of the xanthate group analysis of viscose she is currently working at the University of Mainz with Prof. Frey. Her current research involves methodological development of MALDI-TOF-MS in the analysis of synthetic polymers. |
