Dr Stephane Carlotti Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques University of Bordeaux - LCPO ENSCBP 16 avenue Pey Berland Pessac France 33607 Email: carlotti@enscbp.fr Biographical Sketch: Dr Stephane Carlotti is Associate Professor since 2007 at the University of Bordeaux. He completed his PhD course in the field of Polymer Science in 1998 at the University of Montpellier. After a post-doctoral position at the Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute (University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA), supervised by Pr. T. Hogen-Esch, he joined the University of Bordeaux 1 and the Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques (LCPO) in 1999 as Assistant Professor. He worked mainly on the synthesis of polymers, copolymers and specific architectures like cycles. He studied the living anionic polymerizations of ethylenic monomers in bulk at high temperature and cyclic ethers by an activated mechanism. Other interests are in the fields of Ring Opening Metathesis Polymerization and chemical modification of polymers.
