Jasmin Preis Institute of Organic Chemistry Johannes Gutenberg-University Macromolecular Chemistry Duesbergweg 10-14 Mainz Germany 55128 Email: preisj@uni-mainz.de Biographical Sketch: Jasmin Preis studied Biomedical Chemisty at the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz (Germany) and received a diploma degree in 2008 under the supervision of Professor Heiner Detert with a project on synthesis and characterization of 1,2,4-triazolo-annulated heterocycles. Currently she is preparing a PhD thesis focusing on sulfur-containing polyethers for surface attachment, in the group of Professor Holger Frey at the Institute of Organic Chemistry at University of Mainz. Recently she spent five months at the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) under the supervision of Professor Nicola Tirelli, working on the synthesis of hyperbranched oxidation-sensitive block copolymers. |
