Within the scope of his studies, he spent four months at the Technical University of Eindhoven. Working on the synthesis and characterization of novel poly(lactide) copolymer systems for medical applications in the group of Prof. Holger Frey at the Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz he received his PhD in June 2010. After joining the chemical industry, he is now working on the development of new polymers for water treatment applications. |
