He received his Bachelor of Engineering and Doctor of Engineering from Kyoto University under the supervision of Professor Tamejiro Hiyama in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He joined Professor Nozaki’s group in the University of Tokyo as a research associate since 2002, and was assigned as a assistant professor in 2007. During his academic carrer, he received his Doctor of Engineering from Kyoto University in 2005. His research interest is in the development of new organometallic catalysts for precision polymerization.
