Mathias Werre

Dipl.-Chem. Mathias Werre Institute of Organic Chemistry Johannes Gutenberg-University Macromolecular Chemistry Duesbergweg 10-14 Mainz Germany 55128 Email: werrem@uni-mainz.de Biographical Sketch: Mathias Werre was born 1985 in Siegen and studied chemistry at the Johannes-Gutenberg University (JGU) in Mainz (Germany). After a temporary research stay in 2008/2009 at the Polymer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst (USA), supported by a fellowship of the DAAD, in the group of E. Bryan Coughlin and Kenneth R. Carter, he received his diploma degree in chemistry 2010 from the JGU. He is currently working on his PhD thesis in the group of Holger Frey supported by the MAINZ graduate school of excellence. His interests particularly lie in complex polymerarchitectures based on poly(ethylene glycol) and poly(lactide).
