Jeffery Anderson Michelin Americas Research Company 515 Michelin Road Greenville, SC USA 29605 Biographical Sketch: Jeffery R. Anderson is a Tire Performance Development Engineer at Michelin Americas Research Company. In this position, Jeffery is working on projects related to vehicle dynamics and is developing simulation tools and test methods for tire evaluation with respect to handling. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. At Clemson his thesis work focused on vehicle dynamics; he helped develop a novel stability control algorithm for oversteer using fuzzy logic that is independent of vehicle and tire parameters. In addition to his academic work, he participated in Lousiana Tech’s SAE baja series and was a member of the Clemson Formula SAE team.
