Gerald Hofmann Cosin Scientific Software Agnes-Pockels-Bogen 1 Munich Germany 80992 Biographical Sketch: Gerald Hofmann graduated in Mechatronics at Munich University of Applied Sciences in 2003. After his degree, he joined intec GmbH as project and development engineer in the SIMPACK automotive department. With the focus on full vehicle and drive train NVH simulation, he developed customer specific methods and worked on product customization, mainly in the area of commercial vehicle R&D and motorsports. As product manager for the FTire interface in SIMPACK, he was responsible for higher frequency tire and road modeling applications. In 2009, he teamed up with Prof. Dr. Michael Gipser and established cosin scientific software, to advance development and application of FTire, the leading higher-frequency tire model in the market. |
