Mustafa Ali Arat Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Mechanical Engineering Room 100T2 Randolph Hall Blacksburg, VA USA 24061 Email: marat@vt.edu Biographical Sketch: Mr. Arat received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. Same year, he granted the scholarship of the Ministry of National Education of Turkey to pursue his graduate studies. Receiving his M.Sc. in 2009, Mr. Arat is currently working toward his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a member of the Intelligent Transportation Laboratory where his research focuses on the vehicle safety and control systems.
