R. China. He received his B.Sc. degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China in June 2008. Then he was recommended for admission to the Department of Modern Mechanics as a Master-Docter combined program graduate student. His Ph.D. project is performed in cooperation with Giti Tire (China) R&D Department. His research focuses on the experimental and simulation investigations of tread pattern wear, with special attention to rubber friction models, rubber wear models and explicit solving of tire dynamics.
